    Centenary Spring Ball

Britannia Hotel Newcastle Airport

Friday 12 April 2024

6:45 for 7:30 PM.

An evening of celebration of the Society 100 years and all things Scottish.

After a welcome from the President. The guests will enjoy a three course meal. Complementary glass of fizz, centenary gift & celebration cake.

Afterwards there is dancing with live music from Nicol McLaren.

SPRING BALL 2024

A HUNDRED YEARS SINCE  (R8x32)  3C (4C set) Peter Knapman Glasgow

 1- 8 1s also 3s dance petronella turn into the middle and set, dance a petronella turn to the opposite side and set. (1) 2 (3)

 9-12 1s+2s dance 1/2 double fig of 8 (1s cast and 2s cross up to begin). 1s finish facing out. 1(2)(3)

13-16 1s cast to 2nd place and turn ¾ RH to finish 1L between 2s and 1M between 3s while 2s dance up to 1st place on opposite sides and set.

17-22 All dance 6 bar RSh reels of 3 across (1M and 3L also 1L and 2M pass RSh to begin). 1s finish in 2nd place on opposite side (2)(1)(3)

23-24 2s+1s+3s cross RH to own side 213

25-32 All circle 6H round and back.
